Sex positivity is at the core of both photographer, Ella Borg’s, and lingerie label, Saqua Studio’s work and their recent visual collaboration saw them champion just that.

Shot while in isolation, the images show the beauty of the Saqua pieces while promoting body positivity - without being cliché - by not shying away from capturing body hair.

“It wasn’t something I was trying to shoot specifically or to avoid - it’s just there. Hair is natural and I don’t necessarily look to get rid of it or hide it,” said Ella.

Chatting to the photographer about the impact of the pandemic on their creatives routines and processes, they admitted that “it hasn’t really made an impact on how I work and create.”

“There is a heap of pressure to create because theres so much ‘free time’, but I believe you shouldn’t force yourself to work because the standard is never going to be the same. You should be able to take your own time with a project, think of ideas in your own time not pressured by outside factors,” said Ella.
